December 18, 2011: We have now reached the Christmas week and most of the Christmas events have finished. There have been great programs and Christmas celebrations. I want to challenge you to pray that God will use tonight’s Christmas Cantata- “The Sacrifice of Christmas” to minister to the hearts of our visitors and to allow it to be a blessing and challenge your life. I also want to challenge you to really take the time and ponder upon the Christmas message. Jesus Christ certainly desires and deserves our greatest attention. Have a great week, enjoy to family time, but truly celebrate the birth of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! We will see you Christmas Day at TBT for the 11:00 p.m. service!

God Bless, Pastor Mulvaine

December 11, 2011: We are now into the Christmas season and Christmas is four weeks away; that means life is going to be extremely busy. Every Christmas, I tell Diane, “We are just too busy to fully enjoy the reason for the season- ‘Jesus Christ.’” That’s not good! Wait a minute, did you catch that- “Jesus is the reason for the season!” There are a lot of activities during the Christmas season that can distract from the true celebration and meaning.  Not only that, but in essence, you could say that Christmas has become just another secular holiday. We have to admit that many today think of the Christmas celebrations as a time to get off work, watch the sports, decorate the house, visit the relatives and friends, or buy presents. Those are not bad within themselves, but they often distract from the real meaning of Christmas. Maybe 2011 is the perfect time in your life for God to move in a special way. This Christmas season may be the time God speaks to your heart, answers your dilemma, comforts your heart, and gives you strength that you need. What am I saying, let God work in your life and celebrate Christmas in such a way that Christ is exalted and glorified!
