Here at Troy Baptist Temple we believe our main responsibility is to fulfill the Great Commission both at home and abroad. Jesus commands us to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost part of the earth. While it would be impossible for individuals to fulfill the Great Commission all over the world at once, the local church certainly is capable of doing so with God’s help. The church at Jerusalem provides a good example of this in the book of Acts. We have a strong evangelistic emphasis here at home, and have been involved in helping others in our “Judea and Samaria.” We also support missionaries that have answered God’s call to go around the world preaching the gospel and planting churches. In 2009 God led Troy Baptist Temple to begin giving money to missionaries through our faith promise missions program. God blessed with a tremendous offering and God has met the missionary needs through His people here. The following list are missionaries and ministries that our church is currently supporting.
